This is a faithful reproduction of the Arnel pattern from that time, featuring the "double diamond" rivets that Jimmy loved to use during his lifetime.
Initially, the glasses were sold with James Dean's name on the temples, but due to production and copyright issues, the model name was quickly changed to "REBEL" and only had the name on the temples for a short period of time.
There are many models with "James Dean" printed on them,
This is an early prototype with the temple markings left blank.

It is estimated that the number of units produced at that time was around 50 of each color.

The Moldo is also made in the USA using the same parts as at the start of the season, and the frame shape and material are also Arnel.
