This military issue model was redesigned in the 1970s with a gray horn rim.
At the time, the same model was manufactured to strict US government specifications by mainstream American brands such as AO and Bausch & Lomb.
Produced as a distribution model for the US Army.
This is the reason why there are many cases where the brand name written on the front and temples do not necessarily match.
This is a rare piece with both the front and temples made by Bausch & Lomb.
* Light gray (25%) lenses that go well with this frame were installed at a lab in Burbank that produces many sunglasses lenses for movies and television.
When worn, the intensity is such that others can faintly see your eyes.
The frame is in excellent condition with no signs of deterioration or cell thinning.
