This military issue model was redesigned in the 1970s with a gray horn rim.
At the time, the same model was manufactured to strict US government specifications by mainstream American brands such as AO and Bausch & Lomb.
Produced as a distribution model for the US Army.
This is the reason why there are many cases where the brand name written on the front and temples do not necessarily match.
This is a rare piece with both the front and temples made by Bausch & Lomb.

We installed light gray (15%) lenses that go well with this frame at a lab in Burbank that specializes in sunglasses lenses for film and television.
The darkness is strong enough to be worn indoors and allows the other person to see your eyes clearly. You can wear it immediately after receiving it.
The frame is in excellent condition with no signs of deterioration or cell thinning.
The realistic vintage frames that you can feel when you hold them in your hands have an authentic texture and charm that cannot be matched by the many copies and replicas on the market.
